As of December 31, 2007, Microsoft Office 2007 is available in Greek. This includes Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and OneNote. Beginning January 1 2008 the new version will be installed on both PCs and Macs running Microsoft Windows operating system or Apple systems running OS X operating system. Microsoft Office 2007 provides a rich set of features for viewing documents in continuous scrolling or single page modes with customizable views to help users focus on what they need at any given moment. It also provides a full range of compelling presentations tools to help people better tell their own stories: using highly visual templates and stunning built-in effects like motion paths and movie-like fades and dissolves. Microsoft Office Word 2007 increases the pace of creation and collaboration with new tools such as integrated instant messaging, faster performance and read-only workspaces. The conversation view controls who can edit a document and when, and the new threaded commenting enables rapid, organized responses to comments. Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 provides powerful new ways to create and deliver presentations with a built-in slide show player and sharing options that enable users to quickly send slide shows by email or post them online for easy viewing by others. With its redesigned narration feature, PowerPoint brings greater flexibility to presentations by making it possible for users to record their own audio along with slide shows. Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 gives users a fast and easy way to stay on top of their schedule and manage their world in the new Conversation view with threaded conversations for managing multiple threads in a single conversation. Outlook can now quickly send and reply to instant messages and is also able to keep users informed of meeting, appointment or alarm notifications in their inbox with built-in client notification features. Microsoft Office Excel 2007 lets users create, analyze and visualize data more easily than ever with powerful new tools such as the ability to create professional-looking reports using built-in templates or design their own from scratch. It also provides users with greater control over the way that data is displayed with both single-page views and continuous scrolling views. Finally, Web-based versions of Excel and PowerPoint, powered by the all-new Office Web Apps Tools for Microsoft Office Project Server 2007, offer users simple tools that let them edit and create documents in much the same way that they would on a desktop machine. The new version of Microsoft Office Outlook uses the Event Logging component to log events to an Exchange Server 2003 or Exchange Server 2007 server. The events are saved in a .MSG file format and forwarded to the Exchange server using an SMTP server. The Exchange Server then acts as a receiver and forwards the events to a specified mailbox. To configure event logging, several Registry keys must be modified. To configure the registry keys: On Windows 2000: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Classes\\ (Exchange) HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\ (Outlook), HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\(Outlook) and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Microsoft\\(Word).
